Work stuff.

Matt Mason is currently a Senior Designer at NBCUniversal, developing the visual language and processes behind the studio’s primetime franchises.

He previously worked with Apple’s Vision Pro team as an Art Director, contributing to the launch of the Immersive Content platform and helping establish its early cross-platform brand systems.

Before joining Apple, Matt founded and led Black Stripe Studio, a small print and digital agency recognized for its strong typographic sensibilities and premium product artwork for clients including Netflix and Roku.

His background in theatrical key art and title-treatment design, honed over 15 years collaborating with leading entertainment agencies, provided the foundation to adapt seamlessly as the industry evolved toward digital, streaming, and immersive experiences.

Across his career, he has designed artwork for Warner Bros., Universal Pictures, Walt Disney Studios, Sony Pictures, Focus Features, Amazon Studios, Apple TV+, and Netflix. He has also contributed to gaming campaigns for EA, Ubisoft, and Naughty Dog, and created design work for major sports brands including MLS, MLB, and F1.

He’s detail-oriented, collaborative, and self-starting, with an intuitive and minimalist approach to design.
